This holiday season is the perfect time to show appreciation for our many blessings, and what better way than to thank those American service members who keep us safe and free? To that end, from Sunday, November 18th through Thursday, December 6th the North Miami Jaycees will be running our annual “Holiday Mail for Heroes” project. All you have to do is come to one of our events prepared to add messages of thanks and encouragement to holiday cards for members of the military; all supplies will be provided. Last year we sent 50 cards, but this year we hope to double that figure. If you are not familiar with the program, check out this inspirational video: http://youtu.be/VaPLe_kyWsY.
